This event is open to only SC4 teachers.

Drawing is a primary way ideas are conveyed in science. Learn how children’s drawings can be used to develop, gauge, and communicate understanding in science. This workshop will share strategies that illustrate the importance of using drawing to communicate science ideas. Participants will be introduced to tool which analyzes children’s drawings for the purpose of selecting appropriate instructional strategies that help students build and communicate understanding through drawing.

Participants will receive the resource I See What You Mean by Steve Moline. Participants will receive a ½ day stipend for participation in this workshop and lunch is included.
