Welcome to the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance (MMSA) web site. We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization headquartered in Augusta, Maine.
As the premier K-12 science and mathematics education organization in Maine, we have provided leadership, resources, professional development,
and policy support for science and mathematics for more than 15 years. We are committed to our mission of working to ensure that all students can meet
or exceed state and national standards.
While our work in Maine remains central to our mission, our support extends throughout New England and the United States. We offer a variety of
services and products to individuals, schools, districts, state and federal agencies, and organizations. Our partners and collaborators represent
state and national constituency of schools, non-profit organizations, professional associations, higher education institutions, state agencies, research
