Citizen Science in the Classroom (CSIC)

Citizen Science in the Classroom (CSIC) consists of two strands:  PowerSleuth Meets PowerMeter and Vital Signs invasive species. In both strands, 7th and 8th grade students conduct ongoing scientific research using unique tools and with an emphasis on data. Using data from these tools, students design and carry out investigations and use their findings to make recommendations, based on evidence, for reducing consumption to homeowners.
